My daughter is trying to determine if those who have a Fitbit engage in equivalent levels of activity over time. We would be SO appreciative if you would be willing to share your experiences with your Fitbit (helpful, helpful at first, a great way to track movement over time, etc.) and your activity levels. Many users we know have described initial increases in steps taken, however -- once they "habituated to having a Fitbit -- that declined over time. These data are anecdotal - if we could learn more from the open human community, we would be most appreciative! We also suspect that variance in activity among Fitbit users may be associated with age, geographic location, etc. - any thoughts you have on that would be great.
