We recommend you try to frame self-research projects as a question: what do you want to learn? Share your questions and ideas here for feedback! As you do self-research, you’ll find more questions to ask – this is the right place for that as well.
Here’s some tips ([1]) on a good question for a successful self-research project:
- Something that matters to you, beyond mere curiosity
- Simple, unambiguous, and singular (about just one topic)
- Doable & achievable (“SMART”: simple, measurable, attainable, realistic, timely)
- Written in plain English (start with a capital letter, end with a question mark)
